Springbank Dental Clinic

Our friendly team at Springbank Dental Clinic provide general NHS dental treatment to people of all ages living in Gloucestershire.

Please note, special care dentistry is not offered at this site.

Unfortunately, we are not currently accepting new patients.

Welcome to Springbank Dental Clinic

Our dentists and therapists are highly trained and aim to provide excellent service and the best quality dental care in a relaxed environment for patients of all ages.

Patients who are nervous of dental treatment have found our friendly manner welcoming, as our team always seeks to put everyone at ease.

Our policy is to treat our patients as individuals and as how we would like to be treated. Our clinical findings and treatment options will be clearly explained in plain English to make it easier for patients to make informed decisions about their treatment.

We provide NHS dental care for adults and children. Unfortunately, we are not currently accepting new patients.

What we do

Springbank Dental Clinic offers a full range of dental services for you and your family. Among the services we can provide are:

  • Hygiene and preventive advice from our therapist
  • Routine restorations
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Gum treatments
  • Dentures
  • Routine check-ups.

Giving you regular dental advice to help you take care of your teeth and gums should reduce the need for dental treatment.

Appointments

If you are a regular patient with the practice and have any queries regarding appointments, please telephone reception on 0300 421 6435, email us at Springbank.dental@ghc.nhs.uk or walk into the clinic located at Springbank Resource Centre, Springbank Way, Springbank, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL51 0LG.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.

Please note, if you fail to attend an appointment without notice, any other appointments you may have made will be cancelled.

If you fail to attend more than 2 appointments, you will no longer be offered a service at our practice.

Emergency and ‘out of hours’ care

For patients who are registered with the practice

If you have a dental emergency in hours (8.30am – 5pm, Monday – Friday), telephone our reception. You will be triaged and given an appointment in a timeframe that is appropriate to your needs.

If you have a dental emergency when the practice is not open, please call 0300 421 6440 – option 1. Assistance is available weekday evenings, 5pm – 8pm, and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 9am – 3pm. At times outside of these hours, when practice is closed, please call NHS 111.

For patients who are not registered with the practice

Unfortunately, the practice is not able to offer emergency/urgent appointments to patients who are not registered with us. Non-registered patients should call NHS 111 for advice, 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week.

Access and facilities

The practice has parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities, a ramp at the entrance and suitable corridors and doors. If you have any concerns about accessing our services, please telephone or email for advice.

If you require an interpreter, including British Sign Language (BSL), please inform reception.

We have toilets adapted for use by people with disabilities and a baby-changing station.

Zero tolerance

Patients and visitors should treat NHS staff, fellow patients, carers and other visitors politely and with respect.

Any form of violence or intimidation against staff working in the NHS is unacceptable, is not tolerated and will be reported.

Practice policies

The practice has a number of policies to ensure that we provide the best possible care for our patients. All patient information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act 2018, and is treated with the strictest confidence.
